in his position i would say Dortmund are more attractive than us purely as he will get games
for comparison the slightly older Elliott signing for us the previous year got loaned out to a team in the division Bellingham then left and Bellingham played 29 times in BL and 10 times in CL and gets capped fur England and will now be on display in the Euros .

Yeah but at that point he would have been joining English champions and not be jobbing for ahem 3rd :)

If he was any good he would think himself better than elliot with better hair as well.

When he turns 24 and sees lfc on their 3rd tile in 4 years he'll regret it ;) not that we bid of course

    There also the family factor.

Whats better living in Germany or Liverpool if most of your family is in the Midlands

I like germany but not the heavily industrialized part like dortmund.

In the end I'm sure we can all agree the kid made and awful choice even if we probably never actually offered him anything.

There are some really nice areas in Dortmund.

    And quite a few not.

Not bad money given he’s rarely played for us and wasn’t exactly a regular for Porto last year. Think we’re going to have to be more flexible with valuations of fringe players this year, make sure we don’t price them out of a move.

    14mil is easy money.

We played 5 in sterling then loaned him for 4 years so it's pure profit as his loans have more than covered his original fee.

Wilson plus cash for Raphinha would be good. Sounds made up though.

Exactly. We can't have paid him much in wages over that time. Sounds like a deal worth doing if we can. I'd take 10 million now probably.

Hopefully he can properly kickstart his career then as well rather than continually being shunted around.

Stick a sell on clause on there as well and maybe pocket a bit of extra cash if he does well and earns himself a £20m move to another club in 3 years

    Probably.

But weve been heavily linked with the leeds fella for a week or so now. Might actually have some legs. Perhaps not with wilson involved but then again Michael Edwards usually pulls it out of the bag most times.

We've been on and off linked for a while. Not sure if there's something more concrete now or it's just journo's guessing. I don't know what inside track mercado-ingles have...
