Look at these wee things. They build kind of portal log cabins out of sand and sticks etc and the carry it around with them. What an educational site this is.
All joking aside, it is pretty amazing how they build them. They cut the wee sticks themselves. I take it with their teeth not a saw, which would be even more amazing.
That is a very cool photo and fact tbph. In my garden in France there are often leafcutter bees, they cut cool little spirals out of the leaves of a plant they like (same one every year), then fly up in a straight line and shoot off like little concordes. I'll film one when I'm there this summer
Neither had I until about a couple of hours ago and I thought it was just too interesting not to share with my best pals.
Here is a video about them. For some reason there is a kind of advert during it about an insect video game or something, I couldn't hear it properly and fast forwarded it.
Sure is, Squire. Will be heading up there around 2-3pm when it's peaking. Was considering London but it will packed today.
A thunderstorm has just finished here and now the sun is out, so I shall be going to a chiringuito on the beach in a couple of hours.
I'm off to Hyde Park for spliffs and beers. The zombie knife I ordered on Amazon hasn't arrived yet though, so if I don't post on here again it's been nice knowing some of you guys

I had a cockchafer in my house the other night, thought that was exciting but they don't build little log cabins.
