Doesn't matter how much we try to lose the top spot, we're still there. Like last year, results (at the moment) are going our way. I'm not going to worry too much about one result on Tuesday..it's how we do against all the sides. They mentioned on Sky that we always score..do that throughout the season and we will win a lot of games.
not confident about Tuesday have a nasty feeling we will be brought back down to earth with a big crash
Nottingham Forest v Middlesborough on Tuesday too, that could be Cotterills first success with a bit of luck.
Ahh thats what i like to see a true Saints fan! and quite right to its never good to get carried away but we have to feel good about playing anyone at home
We were second after the Leeds match but went top after beating Barnsley. Went back to second after Leicester, stayed second after Forest, back to top after Brum and top ever since!
Love this website: http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2011-2012/table Allows you to go back and look at the tables after every match/week. So it should give you your answer.
You can do the same on the Saints OS as well, go to the fixtures page and click on the <TB> tab against each result - it gives you the table as it was at the time.
BBC site says that the Derby keeper had an inspired game...just shows how dangerous it is to let in an early goal. It probably changed the way Derby played. If they had been trying to score we may have had more chances.. though the stats seem to suggest that we should have won. Would ahve loved a win to start this difficult month, but, ignoring the West Ham game, we can beat Reading and Middlesborough.
