could Reubens be going alone with the purchase? If so it will sail through.

It's a possibility. No idea is the only rational option though

Reubens buy it then PIF come in as investors.

    PL cannot do jack ****.

BTW, the Sun broke the story 14 months ago, so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss them....

this makes sense. Buy it so they can start rebuilding across the summer… then PIF just waltz in the side door later on.
The only fly in the ointment here is that it may scupper Ashley’s case if he gets full whack from someone else.

    I doubt he will care.

PIF as investors bypass the ODT and there is **** all that the PL, BEin, Hatice Cengiz or the corrupt six can do to stop it. All PIF have to do is to invest in the holding company that owns NUFC. The PL cannot regulate as it relates to a private company not subject to PL rules. The initial test is all that needs to be passed. Reuben Brothers as owners and directors. Once passed, they can appoint who the **** they want.

The beauty is that they can get Aramco and/ or Saudi Airlines to sponsor us for an extortionate sum of money on the back of it. Both are PIF entities.

It is compliant with UK company law and would be the ultimate **** you.

It will just be their holding company for their minority shareholding in Newcastle Utd. Always better to hold them as a company than a personal holding.

Company JV1 was established for that purpose. Consolidated RB Sports and Media and PCP/ Cantervale.

It wouldn’t work - any major change in shareholding requires the Owner & Director Test.

No I reckon that the lawyers have advised them that there will be a settlement in their favour shortly and they are making sure that all the legal/bureaucratic stuff is in place before then.

    That would make sense.

However, as above, JV1 is the shell company set up for the minority shareholding.
