And Dozy Joe (or rather probably his puppet master Harris) has also just overturned a proposed law that Trump had championed for the prosecution of anyone damaging any statues in the US. So you can now tear them down at will. The world, and especially America since January, has gone totally nuts
Most will realise eventually that even though Trump had his faults, his reign was far better than the shower they have in now....this IMO was very predictable and America will become even more split than it is now.......nuts isn't the word!!!
Spot on. He may have appeared less than tolerant, and even mean, but IMHO he stood up for the American people, their rights, jobs, and importantly law and order and the American way of life, and not pandering to illegal immigrants hence the 'great big wall'. I didn't agree with everything he did such as pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord and such like, but the more I see, I'm glad I don't live there under the Democrats who all seem to be just wanting to line their own pockets and abolish/deny their own history and culture.
And now a Judge has ruled in favour of migrant complaints about their standard of accommodation. The UK Government will now pay compensation to migrants for breaking their Human Rights. Unbelievable.
But somehow all too predictable. Liberals ? I'd shoot them all for causing this mess in the first place !
Which will see society reposition itself. Identity politics is being rejected at the ballot box. There will never be a huge swing to the Ultra right in the UK. There never has been. Small temporary swings becoming more distant memories. The UK has always been the opponent of ethno nationalism on its left and right political axis. The far right are marginalised as odd balls and loons and that is what will happen to identity politics ... Its doing the Labour party in as a electoral force.
I have a lot of sympathy with this, I am an average Jo, a middle of the road type person, I hate fascism with a vengeance and would never vote far right or even far rightish, Labour and their mates the Liberals and Greens have blown it for me after their Brexit antics, they dislike our independence and country, the far left are just scumbags with **** for brains, there is not a lot of choice left for me or my types to vote for but the middle ground and that's the Tories. What else is there?
Agree what gets me is the total hypocrisy, Saint Emma Thompson jets in from LA first class, for an XR demo to lecture us about saving the planet and then jets back first class, why didn't she stay and organise an XR demo in LA one of the most polluted cities on the planet? I see today that several labour controlled councils are seeking to ban smoking outside of pubs and restaurants etc. How long before the socialist republic of Bristol jumps on that yet another labour vote winner? and one that I am sure will help labour win back it's lost red wall voters. I don't particularly want to mix with people who have not had the covid inoculations but apparently I going to have to. And don't get me started on why the cancel culture revisionists ignore the Guardian's historical stance on slavery.
I think we should submit a claim for reparations to the French and the Italians, for enslaving us during the Roman and Norman occupations. We have suffered collectively as a people and still feel the pain now on behalf of our ancestors - those colonial injustices need to be addressed............
2 of my relatives were transported to Australia to serve 5 years hard labour for horse rustling, I feel their pain everyday.
In the future the Labour party could become your option. It may implode, however it may also successfully reposition itself. The head of policy employed by Keir Starmer is Claire Ainsley. Claire Ainsley wants to reposition Labour on the fundamentals of family, community and Country. It can be seen as a start to a reaction to identity politics within Labour, or if unsuccessful and Starmer cannot reposition the party its ending as relevant.
The problem is the left controls the party from top to bottom, especially within the NEC and crucially all policy making decisions, Starmer does not lead the party, momentum do, he couldn't even sack Rayner, the NEC even elected a head of complaints who has a very public history of anti semitism.
A problem but it it is without doubt that within Labour there are now a lot of dissenting voices towards identarian politics .. A clear and loudly growing reaction to Labours downward trajectory. A future for Labour as left leaning economically but culturally small c conservative is closer than it was in 2016.
Sorry I see no chance of that. Starmer has spent far too much time worrying about crap like wallpaper and the tories got stronger and gave labour another kicking at the polls and what did he do? started on the same type of crap straight away, suddenly anointing a saint hood on Cummings who was a liar but is now the champion of truth and the tories took a bigger lead in the polls. Until the labour party realise that the people of Hartlepool and the like don't give a **** about wallpaper, they care about everyday life like their bins being emptied the better and they don't give a **** about the big cities like London and Manchester and of course Bristol, which is pretty much all labour do care about, it was highlighted by the left wing sisterhood and in the past by people like Naz Shah who demonstrated about a white middle class murder victim but have never ever come out with any support whatsoever for white working class girls still being groomed and abused on an industrial scale around the country but especially up north. The people are not deaf, dumb and blind but far too many left wingers still arrogantly treat the electorate as stupid and that needs to change, even in the past 10 days Abbotts absolute bollox about Sasha Johnson being targeted because of her views, when it was 100% obvious what had happened, the people have had more than enough of people like her, I would have had more respect for Starmer if he had quoted the Naz Shah retweet about abuse victims in Rochdale "she should keep her mouth shut for the good of diversity". In short labour are out of touch with reality and I cannot see that changing anytime soon. Oh yes and I nearly forgot Sadiq Khan still believes he has made London a safer place, perhaps he should take a look at the news overnight from the capital.
Larger and larger parts of south London are fast becoming no go, or seriously unsafe areas for the general public and even the Police So Khan ought to get off his arse and so something about the gang warfare that's been raging there and ever widening circles for years. But of course to identify 99% of the culprits is probably seen as racist and infringing their human rights to stab each other at will.
A pro Brexit head of policy was appointed by anti Brexit Keir Starmer .. A pro Brexit pro family head of policy with concerns about identity politics ... I would have thought the chances of that were very slim. Encouraging.
Was this acceptable ? I've just forced myself to listen for 9 minutes to Mark Ashton's first interview at Ipswich. I know, reprehensible, but I'm tired of gardening. I feel exactly the same today as I did 5 years ago hearing this moron spouting his 'vision for this football cloob'. Idiots like Ashton survive because there are bigger idiots that own football clubs.
This is part of what he spouted, I laughed my ***** off, "I’m a builder, and if you look at where I’ve been in the past and what I’ve done, that’s what I’ve done, I’ve built." https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/i...tol-city-exit-and-nigel-pearson-relationship/
Sorry but as much as I didn’t trust Ashton I can’t see anything in this little speech worth laughing or cringing about. He’s paying a compliment to the people he left behind and bigging up his ‘achievements’. Standard stuff really when someone senior moves on and doesn’t want to burn bridges. Nothing to see here methinks.
My opinion only of course, he is a builder in his little speech... * He gave us LJ and DH for managers.. * He sells all of our prize assets.. * He leaves us with a 2nd hand rose squad.. * He leaves us in the week we get the news SL bales us out with another £14m handout.. He is a builder, just look at the state we are in and he is responsible for it.
