    I don't know about a monastery in Arundel, I only make a pilgramage to the cricket ground twice a year. It's a steep climb from the station and, not unlike the pilgrims on the road to Santiago de Compostela, you are nearly on your knees at journey's end!

    Actually, I find the barmy army rather tiresome, their constant jingoistic Aussie bashing, god save your queen ad nauseum etc. I'm more of a park bench at Hove type of guy.

    Ditto here........Your imagination is letting you down olddellboy......Singing "oh when the Saints etc" is about my limit....mind you get a few pints down me I'll even sing the Pompey chimes....<laugh> Mind you if I started that at the rose bowl after some of there less favourable ale .......I think they would throw me out for disturbin' the peace...<laugh>

    County cricket's like that, I would stick up for Hants after Sussex every time. You can sit in the ground and meet people who support other teams, not just the opposition. It knocks football for six in bonhomie. Very few ne'er do wells either, just the odd tipsy bear.

    Hi all, looking forward to a relatively WUM free Saints forum (for now anyway!) with good natured banter with our blue few friends

    Also I agree, there is a slight type 'lag' when typing messages - not a major issue though, will probably get resolved soon

    I think not606 could be a fresh start for many. Even minging is behaving himself, and acting like a responsible adult. Colin 5164 had a purple moment, but has clamed down. Its the bluefew pretending to be saints fans posting inflamatory rubbish designed to get up other teams noses which we need to guard against. so far so good

    Hey, how would I know, I'm colour blind <laugh> Also it only came up as little stars on my site <laugh>
    On a more serious note we all know there are going to be challenges ahead regarding the wind up merchants and the people that have not learned the art of debate with out resorting to all out war. If we all act as one to keep the site on a level field. the new site will do OK.

    I wondered where everyone had decided to move to....trawled through some pointless rubbish on half a dozen other forums, and then tried this one.

    I thought to myself, if it's good enough for BT, CGO,SFCRich Meowth et al, its good enough for me...

    ...I hope I was right :)
