I've remembered why I often can't be arsed to watch England play. Even L2 football is better than this shhite.
Cute finish that too. Not as easy as it looked with the ball going away from goal narrowing that angle all the time
Kane off. Obviously trying to impress Ole with that performance. Dropping deep, back to goal, nowhere near the box. Just his style. £180m bid going in tomorrow
I'm still struggling to see how Kane will fit in at another club. He's so unique, it means playing your system around him, which I don't think even Mourinho grasped. I suppose I just see him in a Spurs shirt and nothing else.
That's why i really hope we never show any serious interest in him. The man is clinical (****ing deadly in truth) in a team that is set up just for him but most teams don't play that way. I/nobody can fault Kanes figures but there is a very legitimate reason Spurs have been named "the Harry Kane team" by many people.
I'm interested to see how he links up with other England players in the tournament. He likes to play as a 10 at times which was fine when he had Deli around him who he was familiar with when they played for England, but with the likes of Grealish or Mount I think he needs to play as an out and out striker. I'm a bit indifferent towards him coming to United if he leaves Spurs. I'd rather we look elsewhere.
I'm really hoping this Austrian side isn't made up of part-timers whose day job is playing strings in the Vienna Orchestra... just so I can feel better about this England performance.
For the money, you'd be better off trying to get Halaand. Whether he'd come is another matter. I think Kane will end up at City as a replacement for Aguero, and where he will have several dynamic ACM and wide men around him to feed him.
I was thinking it could upset a dressing room, of any potential club he goes to, because players will be looking at him for exactly the reasons we have spoken.
Well Trent has taken a few days to decide he wants the summer off. Shame as he can play RB, RWB and RM.
