Good ebening ladies and gentlemen back again for another season of spam and Starting as we mean to go on... Hopefully #onthisday
Oh The parade was summin else. I Love hearing Klopp talk about it and how it was that moment that he truly understood how huge a club we are and how dearly the fans hold it. Its in here, if anyone hasn't seen this yet it's an absolute must! (play on 15mins to hear the parade talk)
Was going over ours this morning on the one year ago today pop-up thingy. It was incredible. Pity we didn't get the PL parade.
The thing is that parade is a part of a.pent up frustration at so many things. Nearly winning the prior year., losing europa final, tick price protests etc, losing gerrard and suarez etc, 2013/14 late loss of title 2010 and all that. It was epic but I kind of am unsure that the same.level would have happened for prem title. Maybe only 500k people I reckon if we were to win a prem after Corona and all this utd be an epic party
Take it from someone who's been to every parade - they have all been like that (minus the flares before that was a thing). Google Image 'Shankly's first FA Cup parade ' - I bet there were more people at that than the last CL parade.
That was our first ever fa cup as well. I dont recall since 86? Anything approaching 2019 2005 was good but nowhere near. Neither was the fa cup in 2006.
I think the numbers in 2019 all across the route were more than 750k. I dont think there was a red left anywhere
