My thoughts exactly. Perhaps Bird and Bird ARE advising them to proceed to sort it out in private... and Masters and Hoffman are literally pushing back as they are concerned it makes them look bad... trying to save their own skin.
I’ve seen it said that Bird & Bird are notorious procrastinators. But surely they’d have to live under a rock to not realise how obstinate Mike Ashley is??
Depends what you believe. Mike Ashley said he wants it sold by end of July (8 weeks). CAT claim needs a response by next Friday. Arbitration starts early July and takes about 2-3 weeks. Therefore this could all be over in less than 9 days, but certainly 8 weeks is the absolute top limit.
Cheers Roly....saved me reading about 20 pages there easily. Surely the PL cannot be allowed to just let this sit there and sit there forever and a day....there has to be a statement/announcement either way from them at some point surely.....or is that what the CAT bollocks is all about/aimed at! It's still on like, 100%
@Roy Munson You saying the takeover ain't happening or are you saying the takeover won't happen within a certain time period?
