No you won’t like. The bet was that he’d beat your lot and win a pot at some point during his 4 year contract. He did one full season, it wasn’t a season bet, I’m not that ****ing daft. If we’d have sacked him, you could claim the moral victory, but he’s been lured by RM, so you can get ****ed.
Thought the bet was simply whoever left first. Does the circumstances of their departure even matter ?
Unless the 4 year contract thing is in the original wording then Tobes needs to pay up imo. If that's what he meant then it's his own fault for not making sure it was clear at the time. I'm sure one of the mods will change it should the community decide the bet is owed. Oh hang on
