Are they good enough to build a team round them, like to think so keeper, CHs and midfield covered or being a sceptical so and so is this being done on the cheap, I'll go with the former but it's good news for these young lads.
Well, to be fair, I'd like to think that this is the taste of things to come. Yeah we do need to blood the young'ns to an extent, but we didn't allow enough to come through imo. Some of those decent prospects who left the club in our not so distant past, we've regretted letting them go. I would love to see some seasoned talent (Defoe..type) join this season....with a mixture of our own hungry youth. That has to be part of the blueprint, surely !
Anybody know how Kimpi did during his loan at Torqayr, they did manage to secure promotion but did he make an impact?
I know it goes agasint the grain but plugging gaps with these lads would've been the wrong move this season. The likes of Wyke, Maguire, Wright, Jones, etc, should've got the job done.
Think he wasn't always fit, but didn't do what you'd hope or expect at that level. Well, in terms of goals and assists that is.
They definitely should have mate. What narks me though, is that our midfield were struggling and we were playing arguably our best midfielder at CB for far too long. Younger should have been in, and 09 moved into midfield.
