Joelinton is a separate issue... I've never said he's great, but he had improvement recently. It's far too soon to start thinking the problems resolved.

I backed Bruce early on when we had our best start in over a decade and I was critical during the bad run we had, but the fact is that since bruve employed Jones we've been the 10th best side in the league, so because my expectations aren't beyond that I'm not going to bullshit myself or anyone else simply because I don't like Steve bruce and I'm drawing the logical conclusion that things are fine now

 

I like to look at how the club is doing

The club is doing fine P12 finish is better than anyone thought when we were 2 points above Fulham. The team has started to play better football and Willock coming in has been a massive factor in us getting 12th.
Currently we don't have a replacement for Willock so there is doubt that the end of season form can be repeated consistently next season.

Bruce has not proved to me that he is a good manager in the time he has been here. On the assumption that he brought in Jones then he did a good job there and also brining in Willock. However crediting Bruce with us finishing 12th doesn't sit right with me as before Jones we were spiralling the drain. This tells me that Bruce is crap as a manger as the team is good enough to be solid mid table but he couldn't do it, instead had to bring someone else in to do it for him.

 

You happy with 10th best?

 

I would say that's about a good as we can realistically expect under the current owner..

The interesting thing is that we've actually been getting better. The last quarter we've been the 7th best side in the league.

That's evidence of improvement and progression..

 

This is at least a reasonable and balanced response and I commend you for it.

Seeing as we've been the 10th best side in the league since the birth of bruce and Jones what is the problem exactly? Forget about credit it's not a question of that it's about the fact its working.

It was ambrosia Devon custard... I used to be onto birds custard but that changed a few years ago.
