Just checked back in on the game to see Konaté's first header. Straight up like a dart. ( I bet he's good at basketball too with a standing jump that high) Still thinking Upamecano is looking slightly better.

 

Looks quite commanding for his age. I guess that why he's got the armband.

Hes directing others and pointing all the time, also seen his reading of the ball over the top. It's good.

 

Yeh you're right. I think more play is going Upamecano's side as well. We've been linked with Aouar, not too impressed with him. I think Salah's lent him his boots for the game - can't find the net. Although I've now found out how to say his name 'hour'.

Was good seeing Konate last night - the guy just towers over everyone and is rapid! Looking forward to seeing him line up against VVD.

 

Looks like he has all the tools required to do well for us.

Just hope too much pressure isn't put on his shoulders while he's settling in.

 

I think he's an incredibly signing for us and as long as his body holds up, he could be immense. Him and VVD towering over everyone

 

He very well could be, not sure if vvd and Joemez will be fully ready for the start of the season so he could well be straight in I just hope he lads on his feet rather than has a difficult start here. Cos you know the vulchers will be circling waiting for any mistake to call him a dud
