Absolutely, and I completely understand young people's hesitation here. Completely. I'm just wondering if there's a greater correlation between people who are anti-vax and "knowing someone who has had a severe illness as a result of the vaccination" than there is between the vaccination and getting a severe illness because of it. I think, going by my minuscule study across here and Facebook, that it seems to be the case.
1st AZ jab I was rough for 3 days . Day 1 headache and being sick . Day 2 horrid headache and general aching . Day 3 just totally knackered . No reaction whatsoever to the second Jab .
Not in my opinion ..... if someone won’t have the vaccination due to fear of needles, will they take the vaccination in some other way if it can be invented? Or is it just an excuse? They will have had some kind of vaccination already in their life and this one is no more than a scratch. I’d hate to see anyone catch this awful virus (and my friend who’s a critical care nurse hasn’t spared me the details) because they wouldn’t have a jab
Can't speak for everyone, but yes I would, and I'm pretty sure it's being looked at. It's a serious problem for many of us with genuine fear, and in no way is it "an excuse". Of course there are probably a small, but vocal minority who use it just as an excuse, but for the vast majority of us needle phobes, it is not an excuse.

Health can change in an instance. If you were told you had to have a vaccination to go to watch Saints again would it twist your arm? I just want everyone to get jabbed and get to the other side of all this crap. I have a couple of friends with severe anxiety that have braved going to get it. It really wasn't easy for them but support got them there.
Based on the last 6 months ... no As I said further up, if they (and I think they are looking at it) invent an oral vaccination (be it a tablet or a nasal spray), I would happily take that one. I don't believe that everyone will need a vaccination for us to be clear of this though. We aren't getting rid of this, and as long as the vulnerable are protected, we should be able to live alongside it.
Or people who know someone who have had a severe reaction are far more likely to become anti vax because of it. I’m not anti vax btw just playing devils advocate
There is a need to consider variants, increased long covid and more young people becoming seriously ill also the ethnic inequalities worldwide, there has to be a massive vaccination program with the anti-vax conspiraloons debunked and ridiculed.
Isn't that what's happening at the moment? Unless you make it legally compulsory and mandatory, you are never going to get 100% compliance. Yet that'll never happen. And rightly so. Everyone is in charge of their own bodies, and we live in a free world. The UK government have even given up on the idea of covid passports, let alone a mandatory vaccination programme.
A friend of mines mum is a proper anti vax Bill Gates will control you if you have the jab. To the point that my friend is 27 and had never had any vaccinations in her life (until the Covid one) She was telling me a story that she was on a family Zoom call and her cousin and her partner who both work for the NHS said they had been vaccinated and her mum burst into tears and went on some rant about how they would be dead in 5 years. She decided not to tell her mum that’s she’s had the jab

I agree mate and think you're probably right. It just felt that that's how the tone of the conversation was going and feel it's important to make that distinction.
Probably only about a month away from some sections of society begging for another lockdown. Most likely those who are financially stable and have nice gardens to relax in.
A question I have for those who are anti-vax by choice, is where they think we would be if we hadn`t had any lockdowns, and if we didn`t have a vaccine?
