The Telegraph arranged a survey. Just like any other survey by a newspaper, it was a small sample (compared to UK population). What they wanted to know was what the English thought about Scottish Independence. I cannot say that I was too surprised with the results.

As it stands, the SNP are trying to forge an Independence Referendum coalition with the far-Left Greens that would be catastrophic for most of Scotland’s major industries; but what the heck, IndyRef2 is all that matters since they are totally incompetent in government.

In the survey of the English, just 32 per cent opposed Scottish Independence. Wee Jimmy McKrankie should give the English the vote! It turns out that the young are less bothered than the old. Half of English over 55 opposed Independence whilst just 21 per cent of under 35s did. Interestingly, Labour voters were more likely to support Independence – perhaps a tacit admittance that they have lost their homeland to a different brand of crazed Leftie.

The English do not think that Scotland should be allowed to keep the British pound sterling. Amazingly, the public agreeing with reality for once – how can you run a country using a currency that you have no control over? They should join the Euro.

A third of the English think that they should be allowed a say in any Scottish Independence referendum. It seems like the numbers suggest that Wee Jimmy McKrankie should let the English kick Scotland out of the union.

Interestingly, the young English do not oppose Scottish Independence because they think that Scotland will be successful (so presumably they would then move there). English Conservatives think Scotland would fail whilst half of English Labour supporters favoured independent Scotland. Labour supporters kindred spirits of the crazed Lefties at the SNP.

The survey should be manna from heaven for the SNP (i.e. the anti-English party) – the English do think they are a bunch of losers (have already proved they cannot run the country) and we would be glad to be shot of them.
