I didn't listen to any of that stuff, but I said a few weeks ago I thought he might have a touch of the Mourinhos about him, - a tendency to blame the players for failure, as though it's their job to succeed for his sake. I'll be interested to see where it goes when the inevitable ups and downs happen.
Scott Carson is the ONLY Man City player to have won the UCL..... ...which he did with Liverpool in Istanbul back in 2005.
I don't care if the City fans are genuine or not, they would have been a nightmare if they'd won it last night. We can handle Chelsea supporters, don't you fret about that
You guys seem to dislike Manchester City almost as much as Manchester United. There was never this level of animosity years ago towards them. Is it because they are a rival? Manchester United I can understand, but not City.
It's definitely the money thing with me. Mid-table no-marks, fast-tracked to world status through a vast amount of money from outside of the game. Doesn't sit right with me. If it weren't for that I'd have no problem with City, there's nothing wrong with rivalry - it's what makes it all interesting. I still don't dislike them as such - just the whole oil-money thing behind them. And yes, I know it's part of the modern world - but I'm not, if I can help it.
There was never this level of animosity until their supporter began to strut round thinking football was invented in 2008 when his Arab owners came into town chucking their money about. Then he became someone whose face you wanted to punch into the middle of next week. United supporters have always been united supporters. ****ing annoying.
Didn’t really care what team won tbh. Thing with city though was the whole oh look how theyve come from a div 2 team and now playing in europa top tournament. There is hope for everyone that it could happen... yes if your brought by a country and had unlimited money pumped into you as well as given a free stadium. The same media praising them for making it from rags to riches are the same ones that a month ago were moaning about how the big 6 clubs were trying to ruin football to stop that exact thing happenin... oh and city were one of those 6 Plus it’s always funny seeing pep fail, Only way he can win the CL is if messi is winning it for him At the same time, chelsea being labelled as some huge underdog who have overcome all odds, despite them having arguably the second best squad in the country and spent 200m over the summer
I'd have preferred Man City to win too although that's because I do dislike Chelsea as much as Man Utd I have found it very amusing seeing people say they didn't want Man City to win because if the money pumped into the club when the alternative was Chelsea....
Theres only 2 reasons. 1. They are oil money dopers who are set about ruining the game. 2. They as a squad sung about Sean cox getting half killed and the song also refers to victims. So they get every karma coming.
I slightly favoured a Chelsea win because it's Citys ultimate goal to win the CL and its postponed again for another 12 months at least Although its like having the choice of having your knackers removed with an axe or a teaspoon so.........
