To be fair, with Timo upfront, we didnt have an out and out striker either I like the guy, but he really needs to develop a killer instinct in front of goal. Two sitters he missed, the bloody melon!
Missed it all. Been working and then down the beach. Fair play to Tuchel for delivering for the Chav ****s. I s'pose.
The thing is at no point did it ever look like 'backs to the wall' for Chelsea. City just never really troubled them or put pressure on the defence. Their passing was non-existent and most their players started losing their composure right after the goal, I think because they knew whatever Pep had intended wasn't working.
Aye popular alright. Just bear in mind, the same folk he's showing that trophy to, would be chucking him off a metro if he weren't in a chelsea kit. Talking of cheslea kit, has John Terry turned up yet?
I can't stand the guy to be honest. Wife-beating, mouthy, self-obsessed chaps with a luke warm IQ aren't really my cup of tea. I do appreciate he was suffering from his own demons at the time and I'm sure he has his positives but every time I see anything he's said/written he's either moralising or professing knowledge - if I wanted moral advice or a knowledgeable opinion he'd be one of the last people I'd listen to.
Be easy on Sucksta, the morning after will be extra painful for him. I could also do without another 10 salty threads from him about it
