Let’s hope it’s Cooper’s last game in charge. That was not a ‘’Swansea’ performance - we did not turn up. The day was great, chatted to Lee Trundle, Jordan Ayew and Kev Johns. Also said hello to Leigh Dineen and Alun Williams (CEO of Swansea Building Society)
I woke up just after midnight to check the score and was neither surprised or disappointed. The table didn't lie, the three best teams were promoted. It will be an interesting season coming up with no stand out teams. Bournemouth have some good players, how many of them will be around next season? Reading and Barnsley have good managers, We did well considering we had no out and out striker. As for the rest of the Championship, they were awful, utter crap. As for the three relegated teams, there's nothing special about them, from day one, not one of them spend a week out of the bottom three.
Saw the game whilst having a family barbi near Bath....with so much at stake for us fans and especially the players the start of the game was so disappointing giving away a poor penalty because of our defenders going to sleep and the breakaway goal was something else. Did the Bees get out of second gear? Did we? Sorry to say this but yet again we lacked leadership, pace and nous from many of the players. No shots on target sums up our poor day. Yes Brentford were good but we made them look good on the day. Our team will now be dismantled with loans going back to their clubs and our best being sold...Connor..... If Cooper stays has he got any real contacts left to try and get us playing some football?
I watched until the second goal went in then took the dog for a walk , which I think was one of my better choices. . It was going to be hard enough but to score 3 was never going to happen. Never mind . i'm suprisingly sanguine about the whiole affair and now looking forward to a new manager (please) new players and renewed optimism we can actually go back to what we're good at , playing football as opposed to hoofball
Just got home - at least the Cardiff Banner on the bridge by Margam had been taken down by the time we got there. ‘Ha, ha. Waste of journey’
