I'm trying this again. Is it a foregone conclusion that city will win tonight. :bandit:
No. Chelsea are a decent outfit with a good manager who has been here before. I would make Citeh slight favourites but that means little.
If one side was going to score 3 or 4 goals I could only see Citeh doing that to Chelsea and not the other way around, but Chelsea have
players who can open Citeh up. I don't want Citeh winning a CL ideally so a Chelsea victory please, not much of a choice mind.

@Zanjinho how come you would prefer City to win?

I don't want either, but feel a City win will open the door for them to have continued European success.

Having said that I just can't see Chelsea winning the game

City by 2.

Chelsea to implode under high pressure press and inability to shoot straight.

The only qualifier is sterling bottling it and not running. If he doesn't start city should win this well.

Because I can't stand Chelsea, they're up there with Man Utd. Hated the 2008 final!

Interesting line up from city. Surprised no cancello, Fernandinho or rodri.

Anyone else found the stuff about city climbing the ladder from div 2 to CL final etc... like yeah they’ve spent about 2 billion in fees in last 10 years, pretty sure most teams would have got there before then spending that kind of money

Totally agree, this is fed to us as some sort of romantic notion that it could happen to any club. Horseshit.

Well, I hope it's a good final with lots of drama ... prefer it if it wasn't happening at all since it's these two teams, but it is, so hopefully it's not a borefest and there are plenty of goals and maybe controversy

Also twenty years since they're were last in the championship, 22yrs since they were in the third tier.

It's all about as romantic as a 20 year old model type marrying some mega-rich elderly oil magnate

It's nice for their fans that still turned out to support then in the second and third tier, they deserve the joys they're getting.

But yeah, the journey isn't a fairy tale, if anything it's taken far too long considering the financial input. They should be on two or three by now with the money they've spent!
