You can be proud of your country, and still be embarrassed at who leads your government. Bet there were plenty of proud Americans who were mortified at the fact Trump was their leader.

I’m old enough to remember all these absolute dangers pretending it was a reluctant Tory vote as the alternative was Corbyn. Turns out they can’t get enough of our very own Trump/Bolsanero/Orban.

Even a fab story of the PM running for a train incites their hatred. Fortunately they are a small minority on social media and the vast majority of the public find this as quite cool. Let them all cry in their bitter little existence.

It's not a fab story, it's a stunt - Boris Johnson the ordinary De Pfeffel. I don't hate it, I laugh at it and those that wave their flags over a man that spent half a million doing up his flat and had £27k worth of free meals delivered, catching a ****ing train. You're pathetic.

Says the bloke who championed for an Anti-Semite. Then thought he could actually win an election. (<laugh>) Then thought the new bloke was good. And you call me pathetic? Deluded fool

Sounds like the tragic death of the two Cambridge graduates by yet another Islamic extremist is down to MI5 who failed to monitor a man who was in 0.1% of the most dangerous prisoners in the UK, and Cambridge University academics whose utter naivety that all extremists can be rehabilitated led them to put these two young people in harm's way. And maybe too, the do gooders too, who let this fiend out of jail after just six years, after he had plotted to blow up the Stock Exchange.

All have to realise that some extremists can never be rehabilitated. Extremism and the death of unbelievers is part of how they view their religion.

Sadly you will always get a few yoghurt knitters thinking releasing terrorists is months ‘in thing’ and don’t actually think of the consequences. Utterly shocking the events of that day and still some do gooders try to defend them.

I hope lessons are learned but I'm not confident.

Three murders in Khan's London yesterday apparently.

And many sheep in London just vote that failure in? And the Tory voters get accused for that!
I did/do a lot of my work in London and it’s a different place to what it was a few years back. Too much knife crime/drugs/gangs
Saddick Khan is a terrible Mayor and the quicker the Tories find a better candidate the better. Saying that, it probably wouldn’t make a difference in London now.

The murder rate in London is incredibly high. I remember once looking at New York and feeling sorry for them. Tables have turned. I would not want to grow up in London now.

Yeah I was born and lived there in my younger days. Just work there now. I enjoy living in the sticks with little crime and without all the crap that goes on in the city.
