I would agree that's 1 club.. They did of course send alot more than us though. So only 1 side short? Surely that represents a good season a things considered what with long term injuries to key players, fixture congestion like never before and covid on the first team?
Does the final position not mask over us being in danger until Willock basically single handedly dragged us up the table?
Si you don't think that if we'd not lost Wilson max almiron and schar for 8 weeks in which we played 2 games a week we wouldn't have done better? Not to mention macs previous covid absence, feddys and dubs
Willock was a good signing made by Bruce though mate.. He asked for the player. I would also argue max, Wilson and Almiron return was key. Max vs Burnley for example springs to mind... Mate it's all just a big hate agenda... We scored a goal vs Leicester which was a 16 pass move on the floor and went 4-0 up that night.. We've outperforming 12 other clubs since Jones came in on points scored and scored more goals than any other team.
Come on mate are you telling me if wilson was injured the nufc fans would be saying its not his fault he's only had 200 million
Yep Willock was a good signing obviously, nobody was expecting him to turn out as good with his goals (except you obviously), but we'll see how they fill that hole next season
It's a problem, but they know what they need now.. Two cms of good quality and if we keep the players fit we'll be fine
Again you’re missing the point. I haven’t judged Bruce on where he finished in the League. You asked me what I was hoping for and I told you. Now you’re trying to say I shouldn’t be unhappy with Bruce because he wasn’t that far off. I’ll say again I judge him on the whole picture. League placing is only part of that. Yes he was aiming for top half and he was 14 points short. If he had said 17th (which incidentally he did) I would have still said top half. If I’m suffering from unrealistic expectations then Bruce was as well as we’ve both noted top half was his stated aim (his initially, mine throughout). You seem unable to comprehend that some fans have perfectly reasonable and logical expectations and don’t rate Bruce as a manager based on the whole picture not one stat or another. I’ve said why I don’t like Bruce. You’ve chosen not to read what I’ve said. You’re perfectly entitled to your opinion but deep down we all know Bruce has not done a good job as manager of NUFC no matter that one statistic or two suggests otherwise. Remember full picture not one isolated part of it.
No mate and I'm hoping for this takeover so we can get a good manager in. If Bruce starts his ****e again and the performancescgi backwards I'll be thec1zt to criticise him, but I simply refuse to press fwd when he's doing well. Like I said earlier it's like putting an employee on a performance review realising they exceeding the targets you set and then saying well **** you anyway. anyway.. Not my style I'd crunch up my toes say well done with an assassins smile and then strike when their performance dipped again
Why not just for once take note of the signifcant improvement and see the potential. If we keep that up we'll l be 8th... (unrealistic) Don't fix what isn't broken.
A question...If Almiron was out for 8 weeks and we played 2 games a week (16 games), can you explain how he made 34 league appearances this season given you seem to think he was only available for 22 matches?
He was injured for 5 weeks I really just summarised to emphasise the point Are you suggesting our dip in form wasn't in direct line with the injuries we had? Yes or no? Was covid a real disease?
