It must be several pages now since some turd piped up with 'No one tells him how to run his club' and gets it liked by the usual simpering nodding dogs
Who mentioned I was in it? Though I would rather have been him than mincing around like Charles Hawtrey.
Random? Apologies if I'm mis-interpreting. Personally I don't see anything wrong with posters occasionally bringing back up some of the stupid things the arrogant, despicable (in the context of 'our' club), disrespectful, pair of pathological liars have said and done. Yep, we don't need it in every reply or even every page, but to my mind it's fine from time to time. In the instance you bring up (a certain irony there), what he was saying right back in those early days was that he couldn't give a damn what us supporters (including you and me) thought or wanted. HIs subsequent actions demonstrated that was and is the case time and again. If only he had given a damn, then perhaps they'd have avoided some of the stupid mistakes along the way, and we wouldn't now have a decimated supporter base yet again. To me, the simpering nodding dogs are the opposite of the ones that you appear to be alluding to. As said, apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick with your post.
Many folk will certainly not want dull pointless postings smothering this the board, that’s for sure. Tine for a new RL thread soon?
Shouldn't begrudge them their space. There's a little coterie of rugby fans who enjoy chat about the local teams' doings. It's part of the rich tapestry of this sports-mad city and I for one don't mind joining in to remind them of their place in the larger sporting context.
Don't forget, as that great ambassador for the city of Hull, Terry Geraghty, said when Hull was awarded City Of Culture, visitors would have the chance to see what a great sporting city Hull is as not only does it love its rugby league it loves its darts and wrestling as well. This at a time whenHull City were the only Premier League team in Yorkshire.
Amazing that some folk are so grumpy and mean-spirited about the rl threads and the fun they generate.
