I’m judging him on the season and the quality of the football played during that season and his managerial skills shown over the season. As I’ve said already 4 of my examples covered the whole season and the other one covered over half a season both when Jones was there and when he wasn’t there. The late surge gets him some credit but it doesn’t disguise what happened over the rest of the season. So instead of rating him as bad over the season which he was for most of the season it raised him to a poor to average level. If picking out stats over a full season are his “worst bits” to justify my points then he really doesn’t have a leg to stand on, does he?

So you realise over the season newcastle united was the 12th best side in the country? Is there a stat you can provide to demonstrate otherwise? I'd also like to highlight that we've actually been the 8th best since Bruce made the inspired choice to employ Jones, so can you present an argument that says we've not progressed since then?
I will just remind you that I was highly critical and wanted him sacked during our bad run, but because I'm a fair person I've had the good nature to say well done. I was also supporting of Bruce during our best start in about a decade, so it's clear that I'm just being honest and not winding people up

No I'm being persecuted for being reasonable and I take exception to it.. You can look back if you like, but you'll see I've been sound throughout. This is a topic of discussion and because the hate for bruce outweighs reality they're now venting that built up hate on to me Feel free to answer the questions rather than make wild assertions please. Petty? Hmmm interesting because I'm the one that wanted Bruce out that's had the strength of character to say I was wrong and fair play.

Fair enough, but there wasn't any conversation on here it just kinda happened... There was talk of Howe not from myself and that lead to big sam and the rest ensued. Luke Edwards I feel has had what I just had in spades, so he's probably got a grudge.. Thats my opinion based on the events of today. I think he probably said a few things fans didn't agree with, got abuse and it's snowballed from there until its got out of control on both sides
