That’s a worrying sign. we will struggle no doubt about it if this policy continues. unfortunately you have to pay to a certain level to stay in the championship. Or be very very lucky And with our man fixed on a system that can be got at very easily it’s a fuxking huge worry.

I wonder whether the feeling is McLoughlin can step up to be a first choice centre back. He's played and did well in SPL, and hasn't had much chance with us last season. However, we still need another one, preferably with a good bit of experience at Championship level.

If Burke really wants out (and a move south?) probably as well to let it happen, but if we're saying we can't afford him that's a really bad sign. What calibre of player can we hope to attract if we're paying below the odds?
