So how serious is this one? We seem to have a takeover story every other summer and it never amounts to anything. Has anyone of any credibility confirmed the rumors? so far all I can find is rehashed info translated from Turkish sites. As others have said, its odd that Burnsy hasnt mentioned it. Would love it to be true, all I ask is that he's a decent bloke who puts the club and the fans first... possibly too much to ask in this day and age.
Sorry mate, but it's just the same story we get every close season. You know the one where it all falls through, so we have tighten our belts and all that.
I would like a fiscally prudent owner who makes wise decisions which may or may not be popular with our fanbase, which guarantee the future survival and prosperity of our club. I would like decent fans who don't barrack our players or behave in a fickle way, or generally behave like ****s..

Syd T14 has me on ignore, so this doesn't seem to allow me to respond to his post directly (see above). His comment is totally irrelevant. a) It's not been confirmed by the club and b) even if it had been, it's an entirely different transaction where the rules have changed and the current owners have a different motive. Not that any of us know exactly what those objectives are. Another summer of bullshit speculation it seems.
