True but then you've got Ashley saying nufc fans have won the lottery. Basically we'll alot better off, but it's not even possible to do a man City cos of financial fair play. We'll be able to keep players I bit easier and also and they have plans for the training facilities. Nufc had been left to rot by Ashley it'll get a good lick of paint
Nah, all we've ever wanted is a well run club that communicates with the fans, gets involved in the surrounding area and has a team that tries to win games and give us some entertainment along the way. Not really a big ask.
The only lottery winner will be fat Mike mate. He wants his cash back and he’s seemingly prepared to go to any lengths to try and get it. I think you get it and would be happy with anyone who was prepared to actually invest something and seek gradual improvement on and off the pitch, but you’re going to be in the minority if this actually comes off buddy. You know this as well.
so what’s the official offer? Who is involved. Percentage ownership etc? do me a favour, come back when Allegri is in the papers holding a Newcastle shirt.
Same split... None have given up which is quite telling. It'll be rafa I'd think if it goes through that is.. I just want to be able to go to games and feel like the people in paying care mate... We're not after much really just want that feeling back... The club and the fanbase has been toxic for 15 years and only a new chapter will change that.
Your tune has done a 180 switch after Billy big balls last spring. From Bruce to Rafa, why? the same offer based on no increase in TV money, in fact it held for next biddin hmmmm period. I doubt this ‘deal’ being the same as over a year ago.
I think some think they can just walk in and start signing top top players, but I think most people that know the sport know it's a slow building process and things have to go right more than wrong. I just hope our recruitment is better than Everton's 1st few big dips in the market. I'm not having a pop in just pointing out you can have money, but the people picking the players have to make the right calls.
You just don't know when I'm taking the piss mate. I think rafa is nailed on tbh. He's out of work and has recently said he is still in contact with nufc players and wants to manage again in England. He's a safe pair of hands.. If I was stavely etc I'd want that when they first come in.. It just makes sense to me, but I won't lie in still feeling a big doubt it'll ever happen and we'll be seeing another year or 2 of Bruce
Having the right management team and scouting network is key at any level of the game and making sound decisions when investing in players will always be the difference between success and failure. If you get the Saudis you’ll face the issues we did. Clubs inflating players values the minute you come calling and agents seeking to fill their boots on wages for both new and existing players. Some of our recruitment decisions were ****ing criminal tbh, but it was the owner who employed the DoF’s and a succession of managers who between them spunked his cash. The problem any club who has ambition and wants to sign next level players has, is that you’re on the back foot when trying to convince players used to CL footie, winning pots etc to join the ‘project’. They ultimately only come for the cash and you have to wonder if their hearts are really in it. The best tactic imo is to buy young hungry up and coming players, but they’re always a gamble. It’s tough to get the right players and right mix, especially when the fans are wanting it now, and don’t see it’s a process, that done properly usually takes a number of years. These days if a team has a bad run of half a dozen games their fans are calling for the mangers head, seemingly irrespective of what’s come before and the bigger picture. It never used to be like this, the game has become so fickle and patience doesn’t seem to exist anymore.
So the ruben Bro's are now second in rich list, with a fortune estimate at 21Bn, up in the last 12 months by 5Bn. But are only in for a part share at NUFC?
Well basically nothing changed but we know they're still at the table.. An answer will arrive in the next 12 weeks max
