So if they are worth over £20bn and as their wealth just grew by £5bn... how come they don't just buy us outright? I would.

Because its a business opportunity they're willing to invest 10% in that's backed by people way richer than they're.

 

Nobody got rich writing a lot of cheques.

 

If I managed to cobble together 20 billion. I'd just put the money on the table straight off. Sack the board, err I mean Charnley. And in-state us lot. 3 seasons and into the Champions League I guarantee.

 

I said this a year ago, why don't them and Staveley buy us without the Sauds. Would have gone through straight away.

 

If they just made another £5bn then it's a small part of their new wealth.
That's what I'd do.

Thing is, out of us lot, who would be manager? Chaos? D.o.f. pouchy? Head scout???

 

Same reason they are wanting the 10%... investment.
Surely if it's good enough for 10% they can up to 90%. A lot of development opportunity will likely fall out of the NUFC takeover so they win both ends potentially.
