When United trounce King Kenny's band of jesters, and if we beat the Toon 0-6. Okay, the second part is a tall ask, but it's not beyond the realms of plausibility. That said, I'll settle for 5th, with a game in hand.
If Spurs grab a draw tomorrow they'd have done well... Newcastle have only conceded 4 so far and Spurs will need to keep possession more to the 50/50 mark if they are to get something but that's a task too considering how well Newcastle pass the ball and have Cabaye and Tiote running kilometers like no tomorrow and both have a tackling rate above 70%.
To be fair, I would take a draw tomorrow. We are good enough to win but we never get much from SJP anyway. Newcastle are flying at present and will be tough. We need to be up for a battle and play Parker and Sandro to help win the midfield. If we go in complacent then we will go home with nothing.
That's exactly what I mean, Newcastle have guys now who can make it harder for very good teams and Spurs playing both Sandro and Scott Parker would limit a lot of attacks for us which would not be any good as I would bet we lose if Spurs acted on the counter and use their wingers to expose our world class left back Ryan Taylor
another thing about have the guys in the middle stopping attacks, France won the world cup then the euro's with that sort of game and still entertained while doing so.
Both Sandro and Parker can score goals, too. However, there is no way he'll leave Moddy out of the side, if he's fit, and I'd hate to see Bale moved over to the right in order to accommodate Moddy on the left.
Harry will want to play both Defoe and Adebayor, though. And VDV. And Moddy. He doesn't really do tactics.
Way too early to be worrying about league positions, 4th in Oct means nothing. Let's just keep our good form going and everything will take care of itself.
I see the 'anti Spurs' poster little dino is on this web site like he was on 606! I wonder how many other poster names he has on this site?
nor meaningless, a good start will mean quite a lot in May, we already have more points than several relegated teams!
