If it was up to many fans including me it would be the classic 07 and 08 and 99 and 98 days were McLaren and Ferrari battled it out for the titles and they were so exciting... Now we just have Red Bull dominating and it really does take the buiscuit sometimes. But you know what I blame McLaren and Ferrari for this situation as they are producing **** cars!

Two Driver championships are better than one driver, three to five drivers are the best and hopefully 2012 will be something close to that because the cars are starting to close together again. I agree it's McLaren and Ferrari's fault for dropping the ball too many times for the past few seasons.
I watched Qualifying then went to bed. I saw Hamilton get out of his car andignore the media, which isn't what he usually does, what did I read into it? That maybe he's realised that it's a distraction that never helps inprove his performance but can impair it. If he said anything after, I didn't hear or see it, but if this row is over that then, well, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't tbh. Personally I'd prefer never to hear him interviewed again if it meant he'd hit top form consistently, I want to see the best drivers in the world in the best cars driving at the top of their game, not self doubting shadows. If Hamilton concentrates more on his job and less on the surrounding circus then I'd be happy.
Yes but we said that at the end of 2010/ Start of 2011 and look what happened. I Really hope McLaren and Ferrari start next year strong so that they can challenge Red Bull and not be playing catch up.
Well... the Red Bull looks to have peaked and not much advancements will come next season (apart from the blown diffuser bann). Where as the McLaren could be improved even more if they evolve it and not JUST! start again with a new car. The rules are the same next year, so McLaren should do the smart thing and carry on with this car.
I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned; and if it has, I'd like to add this comment in any case. Although Korea is far from his worst effort, there are three significant elements which tempt one to wonder if the Tilke team had an off-day when inventing this track. The Pit Lane entry looks like an afterthought and becomes a skid-pan when wet. 1.1 kilometers of absolute dead straight is as dull as a Korean pay-packet. Now, I've nothing against straights but the odd kinky bit might have relieved the 14 seconds of auto-pilot which makes no demands upon a driver until the braking zone - bar that of pressing a DRS button at the right moment, if he's lucky to be close enough. But by far his biggest gaff must be the Pit Lane Exit! What on earth was he thinking of with his hair-brained idea of putting the exit right in the direct firing line of the second most important braking zone of the whole circuit? This last point is a simply monstrous error in my opinion and is evidence (if ever it was needed) that Tilke's sell by date was reached when he produced this tagged-on, second afterthought.
I agree with your 1st and 3rd points but I actually like the massive straight. 1) It surely makes slipstreaming more likely/effective 2) It slightly rewards a team like force india who make "slippery" cars so its not all about grip - I like the play off between the 2. 3) It gives massive speed into the breaking zone, so it tests the driver more under breaking than the rest of the breaking zones?
My opinion on the Korean Qualifying Session, (Top 4 team analysis) 1) Well done Hamilton, things might just pick up for the guy.. although Button is not far behind tomorrow. 2) Redbull slump, well all they need to do now is win the WCC, so no pressure on both drivers on Sunday then... 3) Ferrari overturned, Massa beat Alonso today! - I was very surprised, but I have nothing against both drivers, I hope to see them move up the grid tomorrow. 4) Mercedes remain solid, although Michael's wheel balance problem hampered him in his only run in Q2, Nico showed the true potential of the car without the mechanical issues, and he starts (7) where Mercedes have remained all season... 6-7-8 grid spots. Hopefully Michael may be able to catch Nico with his extra set of options, can't wait for the inter team battle.
Good performance from Force India again. Nice to see di Resta cheekily steal ninth place and a clean grid slot from Sutil.
The dirty side of the track will be a huge disadvantage here so I wouldn't be surprised to see Button passing Vettel at the start.
And why not!? If they suspect their closest competitors of breaking the rules why the **** should they not lodge a complaint!? Ferrari are rarely that far away either so you singling out one outfit alone is a bit pathetic.
think about it this way Silver. if ur a proffesional at the top of your sport, and you find out that your nearest competitor may be cheating/bending the rules, you would complain about it or ask for it to be investigated. That is what mclaren are doing.
McLaren blow the trumpet the hardest to apply media pressure on the FIA. It's not pathetic since it's clearly obvious that unlike Ferrari, McLaren and Whitmarsh would keep complaining until the cows come home, trying to convince you, me and the BBC that the RB7 isn't a car, but a motorbike/plane with 4 wheels added. Giving us detailed opinions on why it's wrong etc... but never admit that they don't know how it works. I find it pathetic that they keep doing it with no actual proof to follow up with, it would be the same for me regarding any other team in F1. It's never a F1 season without Whitmarsh and McLaren calling foul with something on that Red Bull. You can almost count down the seconds when the season starts "3...2....1....Breaking news! Whitmarsh calls foul on RB8, saying they go too quick in the corners, demands FIA action". This is possible what goes through Christian's head sometimes: Horner: "Don't worry lads it's just Whitmarsh again..." The next object Martin brings up will be the paint job or something, claiming it makes the car look wider and gives it extra downforce or something, so the FIA need to review it or McLaren will make claims saying the FIA are in cahoots with RBR. Origin of "Ferrari International Assistance" = Ron Dennis, who would of thought?

Whitmarsh has defended Red Bull when they have been accused of cheating, I seem to remember him saying something along that lines of "when you are out in front people will always accuse you of doing something illegal". I do not really get where you are coming from, you just sound a touch paranoid.
