Here is another little teaser - I can only assume there is a greater 'corporate allocation' at the Swans game
Conflicted about this game. To me it has an air of the Barnsley play-off final. It was a game we lost, but had we gone up we most likely would have struggled in the Championship under Jackett and I reckon eventually would have come back down. We had no real style of play and relied heavily on one or two key players (Trundle and Robinson to name a few). It was only under Martinez when we walked league 1 was I completely confident that we would do well in the championship. Same when we beat Reading. We had a very distinct style of play with a set of players able to execute it and forced other teams to cope with us. That is not the case this time round. I feel if we go up now we are destined to come straight back down. There really is not a great deal about us that makes me think, 'yeah, we could give the big boys a run for their money here.' Not saying I don't want us to get promoted as the financial gains completely outweigh anything else, but feel it's just to early for us at the moment to actually compete in the higher division. Same as it was against Barnsley.
Regarding the squad , yes we're far too weak presently to make a real go of (if we went up ) of and your post is one I totally agree with. Great to win Saturday but I'm fairly relaxed about the whole event to be honest .Would the yanks invest in the squad I think they would but wisely ?
To be honest this would be my hope. If there is one thing I think Cooper does get right, its prioritising bringing through the youth rather than focussing on bringing in older players. Should we go up I would like to see us bring in a few decent youngsters that will put us in good stead for the next few years to really make a challenge for it. Getting Guehi and Woodman on a permanent basis would be a good start! From there I would say only Cabango, Grimes in the DM position, Roberts and probably Ayew are good enough. The rest would need a complete overhaul.
I'm quite relaxed about the play off final, we don't stand a chance. I mean we are playing Real Brentfordalona, one of the top teams in Europe. Rumours still persist that they were out of the three clubs that were invited to join the European Super League.
Well I've resisted reading any of their forums so far , until now, **** me we should be honoured even to be on the same planet as them let alone at Wembley . I do hope we smash em although a last minute penalty taken by Andre would be the icing for me . deluded is not the word although I can think of a few more better suited but I won'rt for fear of upsetting the mods .

I've not bothered to apply as much as it pains me to post.good luck to those who do hope you enjoy the day and come back with a win
Sian is a lucky mascot in as much as we won a considerable number of games when she was the assistant over the years....let the Bees fans have their moment for the next few days and we can gloat after the game....hopefully....
Good luck to you , i was really torn but the grandkids and sons are going to watch with me so its not all bad. I do hope you're successful but you go and we don't win do not darken my door again
Here's a few clippings from the Brentford ****house Forum : In all honesty it could be about any team they play because they default to calling every team in the league "diving cheats"
Just read their forum, crack on I say, let them be favourites I’m happy for us to have the underdog tag, let the egos get to their heads.
and me, the pressures all on them . The greater the expectation the greater the disappointment when it doesn't come to fruition
I’m very relaxed about the game, what will be will be. If we go up and see it as a payday and the possibility of the yanks selling up. Don’t think the side will be good enough to stay up, but would help to progress the side for future promotion pushes. Stay down and we get to see our academy players start to come through with Ollie Cooper, Brandon Cooper and Cullen getting game time. The futures bright and its black and white.
