Her friend, Imarn Ayton, told BBC News on Monday that the young mother has successfully undergone surgery and her parents are with her in hospital.

Asked about the circumstances, she said: "As far as we are aware, she was at a party.

"There was a rival gang that may have heard about someone being in that party that they didn't feel quite comfortable with or trusted and so they resorted to driving past and shooting into the garden, and one of those shots obviously hit Sasha Johnson.

"But I don't believe she was the intended victim."

The historic rights and wrongs are obviously complex, bu there's an interesting interview with an Israeli diplomat on one news outlet, and the interviewer is doing a reasonable job of challenging her, and asking why they don't sit down and discuss a two state solution. The diplomat basically said that they'd be happy to do that with the Palestinians, but Hamas have been clear that they don't want a two state solution, they want to be totally rid of Israel, which isn't the best option for the Palestinian people. She also made the point that even though Israel is defending itself from a declared terrorist group, their people still spend days in air raid bunkers, so doing nothing simply isn't an option. A fair percentage of the Palestinians are killed by misfired Hamas weapons aimed at Israel.

As an aside, there's also a few interesting documentaries on youtube about the SS Divisions that even the SS complained about due to their excessive brutality. Many left after WWII to take up the invitation from Syria and Palestinians to join them.

If Hamas can afford all the weapons they throw over the wall, why don't they invest that money and manpower into providing safe water, housing and food? Also, why do Palestinians flee to Europe, when there are Countries right next door that already have the life and culture they claim to want?

You can never be too sure with these cut and paste Twitter clips. I am not on Twitter so can't comment on the authenticity and I can only hope it is the usual "Diane Abbott is a total nut-job numpty" thread which seems to be comedy gold most of the time.

Sadly, I wouldn't put it past her to jump to the conclusion that someone tried to off Sasha Johnson because of her BLM stance. It would go to show yet again that black politicians are woefully, or deliberately, ignorant of the levels of violence on the streets of London where their own kind are both victim and perpetrator.

Black Lives Matter but not to each other it seems, only as a guilt stick to beat whitey with.
