The electorate are being offered a choice here of “poor government that has delivered plague inoculation rapidly while our continental neighbours have let their citizens die in the cause of European political unity” or “no government but woke virtue signalling including taking a knee in support of a dead American”.

Crazed Lefties opted for taking a knee if the police would look away while they vandalised statues and their anti-Semitic friends advocated raping British Jews.

Footballers taking the knee illustrate how brain dead they are – all those black footballers demonstrate that it is a meritocracy. If they boycott Social Media permanently until the firms act on racism then the firms will clean up their act but they get less publicity in the meantime – moral dilemma too much for footballers.

Claims were made on Sunday that No 10 may be preparing a new onslaught on the BBC with a threat to scrap the television licence fee and turn it into a subscription service.

The Sunday Times quoted a senior source as saying that the broadcaster could be forced to sell off most of its radio stations in a “massive pruning back” of its activities.

The source told the paper that Boris Johnson was “really strident” on the need for serious reform. They said there would be a consultation on replacing the licence fee with a subscription model, adding: “We will whack it.”

The paper said that the number of BBC television channels could also be reduced, the website scaled back and stars banned from cashing in on well-paid second jobs.
