Here are some of the teams that we may be playing against in our glorious European adventure in 2021/22 and may give some inkling as to why Harry Kane is keen not to take any part in that pursuit of glory... please log in to view this image What a crock of ****.
Roma Villarreal Feyenoord Vitesse Rennes Trabzonspor Sivasspor Basel Anderlecht Union Berlin (**** me was the Bundesliga a dumpster fire this season) Wait until you hear about the competition featuring Ludogorets Razgrad, Neftci Baku, Zalgiris, Lincoln red Imps and Kairat...
He's smarter than he looks, that boy. He wasn't the only one who could see what was coming... Anyway, he'll be back....when he's knackered....like Teddy and Bale.
We are not even the highest ranked team in it...Roma are. None of the teams in Brian's list are likely to get to the group stages as there are many qualifying rounds. In practice it won't be much easier to win than the Europa League.
I'm looking forward to the ECL now. It's not the competition we wanted to be in but we're in it and that's that. With or without Kane we'll be one of the favourites. It'll also be a chance to give some youngsters game time and hopefully we take it seriously enough to do well. I'd imagine we'll be something like 3-1 to win it.
I very much like the sound of Honka......but it has to be said that Mrs B's not feeling the love for it.
Irreplaceable maybe. One of our own. Nope. Boyhood Arsenal fan and now he wants to leave when Spurs need him most, that’s fine by me but he loses any ‘one of our own’ tag now.
It's likely to have Villareal as well as Roma plus decent sides from Germany, France plus a few others. I would need 6-1 to bet.
People also thought Spurs were better than Dinamo Zagreb. This conference league should be treated as a reserve competition IMO. Send the kids
We are better than Zagreb, our players and manager just approached it appallingly and got what we deserved.
If you buy ings I believe we get a percentage of whatever saints get. Very good player imo was excited about seeing him in a Klopp side when he 1st arrived but unfortunately injuries ruined his time with us, had he not had them I think he would have been a fantastic signing.
Probably, but if we had to beat a German side in the quarter finals, plus those two in the semi finals and final I certainly wouldn't think the odds of winning each tie would be much better than 60%. Which would make 5-1 a break even bet.
