Great going to get top 4 in the end. 3rd even makes us not look too bad.

Thiago and Trent both came good when it was needed, both quality over past few games.

Tobes was loving it a few weeks or so ago, giving it all we won't handle the Thursday to Sunday all season long. Well he was right!

Aside from the nervous first 15mins, thought Williams and Phillips were excellent today. Even showed some skills and passes playing out from the back. And both took their blows and carried on.

He was asked to play a more withdrawn role for us. He's had his critics on here because of that, but like with Hendo before him I think he was just doing what he was told to do.
I think he'll be missed, he offered a stability to that midfield, he was very difficult to shake off the ball and made few mistakes. It's a role that is barely recognised by lots of fans but I think his leaving will leave a bigger hole than many realise.
Unless we bring in an adequate replacement of course.

Agreed but even when he got near the box his shooting was awful a lot of times which makes you wonder how he scored so many before!!

I think it’s what we’ve said about our midfield for last few years. They aren’t there to score goals or create. They’re there to win the ball quickly, break up play and provide cover for the full backs. Anything they do chip in with us just a bonus.

Think we’ll miss his ability to retain the ball. Can be frustrating by not releasing the ball quick enough or forward at times, but under pressure he’s comfortable to take the ball in those tight areas and keep it

Yet when I said leicester were wobbling I was laughed at.
    13 points from 10 games.

We took a point more per game

I'm sure the Leicester fans will. I can remember our FA Cup wins in 2001 and 2006, as well as the losses in 1996 and 2012. I can't tell you off by heart in which seasons we qualified for the CL.

I agree that top 4 is more important for the long-term development of the club, but what's the point of developing if you never actually win anything? Besides which, the two needn't be mutually exclusive.

    Anyway, we finished third <diva>
