Terrible decision by a twat of a ref! Really feel for Wales....usually happens to England in sport....refs always seem to be against us. It was such a bad call it defies belief!! Just can't see Wales pulling it off with 14, but here's hoping!

To the Welsh squad, you have performed like supermen in the face of adversity. Most pundits reckon a 10 minute sin-binning is worth 7 points. If he is to be believed then France should have won by 42 points!

You were amazing and can hold your heads high as you were standing on the shoulder of giants today.

We won fans across the World, even people like yourself who admittedly were not 'egg chasing' fans.

To all the well wishers, thanks for the support. Unfortunately it was sport not only Wales that lost today.

Sorry but I had his heritage the wrong way round......I quote wiki....

Alain Rolland (born 22 August 1966) is a former Irish rugby union footballer and current international referee.

Rolland, whose father is French, speaks fluent French, making him an 'ideal neutral' referee for matches involving teams from English-speaking countries and France

<ok> very proud of em today. although i feel like spewing my guts up at the result. no doubt we deserved to go through. although our defense was fantastic, it doesnt say much about the french they werent able to break down a team a man short for an hour!

biggest compliment you can give wales is in that 2nd half france were the team that looked like they were a man down.

i hope they get absolutely annihilated in the finals.

Unfortunately for the World Cup the final has been ruined as they will get trounced. I suspect that the 3/4 playoff will be the better game.

Aussie and NZ must be laughing, tomorrow's game is the real Final, next Saturday could be a turkey-shoot, unless there's a ref called Alain...

A spear tackle is a red card offence.

    Ref got it spot on.

That's what Matt Dawson was saying as well.
Looked harsh to me, but I find Rugby rules a mystery #makethemupastheygoalong
