Strong argument that none of those have been 'fit' to be involved this season!

In the last 18 months he has made a mess over EVERY major decision.

    1. Appointment of JM
    2. Furlough issue
    3. Not sacking JM in February after a run of just 3 win in 14 matches against Premier League opposition.
    4. ESL farce

He has compounded those mistakes (all obvious at the time) by sacking JM and leaving a brand new manager a whole 6 days to prepare for a cup final and we are still searching for one 5 weeks later (and counting).

I am one of many that gave him full backing but at what point do we say that we need a change?
I say the bad decisions and the mess it has left us in on the pitch means the time for a change is now.

The big positive about the ECL qualification is that (covid permitting) I might be able to afford to go to some games.

£60 for tickets means over 220 quid for the three of us to go and see category B games (Villa, newcastle, Palace, Watford, Southampton, Brighton, Wolves, Everton, West Ham and Leicester)...might manage that twice if we are lucky.

Not much consolation having a bigger income as a club due to the new ground when you're priced out of games.

Tbh, I find it insulting considering how many of the games at wembly we went to when the crowds were so low.

It's from 2012. Maddison was 15 and on the books of Coventry, having been born and raised in Coventry, so he clearly supported... Arsenal. <doh>
This is further supported by all the reports that he's a massive ****ing bellend.

This may or may not have factored into us passing on him

Still not an excuse for passing on Pereira and signing Aurier instead, mind

If any other employee at the club had ****ed up like Daniel has in the last 2 years, he'd have cleared his desk months ago....courtesy of the Chairman.

He got caught having an illegal house party in April and hid in the dark to avoid Brendan Rodgers.

Unfortunately just being a moron is not a disciplinary offence - which is a shame

You don't think lending the stadium to the NHS was worthy of consideration?
It may be that he sacked JM as soon as he had a replacement lined up....I will wait and see on that one. The furlough decision was reversed quickly. Every other plausible chairman would have made the same decision on ESL if invited.

I agree with your sentiments on pricing but I don't know what the solution is. The whole of football is driven by money and there are plenty of people who won't baulk at £60 a ticket. I think the WHL season ticket waiting list was abused. Many people who couldn't go simply renewed the season ticket and sold it on every match at a net profit rather than let it go to someone on the list. So the pricing policy leaked money from the club. The same sort of thing will happen if they sell below market price....touts get them and pocket a profit.

Careful with those facts, they don't fit the present "climate".

One other small microbe of comfort to mention: Tranmere came up short in their playoff semi final, meaning that Mike "****" Dean is thoroughly miserable this evening

He missed it, unfortunately. He was too busy giving Man Utd their 823rd penalty of the season.
