8 wins and 2 draws from our last 10 is championship winning form, so fair play them all - had to dig in with a CB pairing 90% of non-LFC fans wouldn’t have even heard of. Mane was outstanding today and playing with a big smile on his face at last, crazy what a crowd can do. a huge shout out for Salah too, bagged a load of goals regardless of our form and was actually brilliant linking up today - a year or 2 ago he’d have been shooting with every touch and only worrying about that golden boot, class act today
Quotes from Gini.... I hope to have played many more years for the club but unfortunately things went different "I didn't sign somewhere else. Everyone knows in football everything can happen I will have to look at my story and how everything went. The fans deserve to know the story behind it."
Doesn’t sound like he wanted to go... only offered a shorter contract and wanted longer? Or wanted more money?
Think it’s always dependant on situation though. Given we won the CL and then Prem and with the lack of income then CL for us is hugely important. for Leicester who hasn’t won an fa cup before? Think their fans would have taken 5th and a cup at start of season. spurs would prob rather a cup given how long been since won
Fans deserve to know the story... sounded bit cryptic, much like the torres situation where he said that was a lot in background you don’t see.
Think on a day like today We need to sit back and admire what the team has done We need to reflect and move forward but most important of all - when Tobes and Peej get back on here - you have to be kind to them and think of those less fortunate than ourselves
Depends on ther club rather than situation. No CL for Leicester isn't a massive issue, they're used to not having it. No CL football for its is potentially disastrous
Don Carlo taking Everton to 10th place with -1 GD in what was arguably the weakest prem in got knows how long. If they can’t get close to Europe this year have to worry about going forward.
Whatever he wanted he was offered a deal and chose not to sign it as a 30 year old. I'm sure we did not withdraw anything and really whatever it is he wanted if he can get it at bayern or barca then good luck to you.
So strange. Scored goals for psv, Newcastle abnd still scored for Holland yet is like a totally different player for us. Was certainly one of most under appreciated last couple years I think, along with our whole midfield but can’t argue been value for money signing given what he’s helped us achieve. good luck to him.
The one thing you can say about wijnaldum is that if he believed that he was as good as he was he would have been twice the player. I dont think the club saw a player for 3 or 4 years so dont know what he wanted but it'll be in certain games where he will be missed. Imo thiago and henderson need back up ot and milner, ox and Jones ain't it. Theres room for another driving player. Keita to go also.
