Never in doubt. 3rd, after the season we've had, has to be a massive achievement. We've been so poor at times, but the character was coming back finally towards the end. Not the greatest run of performances but 8 wins and 2 draws from the last ten is damn good. Let's hope we can keep the character and bring back the skill for next season. Onwards and upwards. Leicester and Chelsea both distracted by cup finals thinking we stood no chance of overtaking them. Took their eye off the (league) ball and allowed themselves to be in doubt (and out) of a top4 finish. Their own fault imo, both could have wrapped it up before today.
Well whatever about chelsea who have played a tonne of games there is no excuse for what leicester did. The admitted pre game v chelsea they went and had a party and then proceeded to play like dogs. 0-2 flattered them. They should have lost by 5 or 6. If lfc did that you or I would be absolutely pissed off. I understand a "young" club might not appreciate the need to get the job done done but they took their fa cup and good luck to them. We get 3rd on 69 points when Leicester should be on 72.
Yeah but I doubt he plays. With 26 men and the state of the england cm options it makes total sense to take him even as wild card back up. He might play no time but you cant go with just rice and expect to get away with it. Everyone else is a.mount, grealish type. Ward prowse wouldn't inspire anyone as a no 6 lol.

Tbh given how out of tune most of the singing was it was probably for the best. That's the thing ... full stadium it sounds great, when it's a sprinkling of fans and you can hear their individual singing voices, not so much maybe they got self-conscious or stage fright

Feel a bit sorry for Leicester, but as you say it's their own fault. They got so pleased with themselves winning the cup they stopped playing. Great as that trophy was for them, we said at the time that it'll hardly be remembered next year. 4th may not be a trophy, but in the long run it's worth more in so many ways. Whatever they say, they must be privately kicking themselves.
Our form for first ten was 6-3-1. People keep saying that was good. We ended with 8-2-0 It's fine margins that we left.ourselves with but we made it. It was the 3rd quart of the same that we absolutely imploded.
