I’m not have an irrational dislike of Leicester I think it’s cause they managed to avoid all the rubbish from them cheating in the EFL to then go on and win a title while a lot of teams went easy on them We have to fight tooth and nail for every win so just jealousy I think lol
I am delighted with the way we have finished the season, sets us up well for next season with Champions League and all
Zaha was absolutely schooled by Phillips Sadly leicester have paid the price for their party. What an absolutely stupid decision by them. Easy peasy
Get in. Disappointing season due to a number of circumstances, but I'm happy that it hasn't cost us too heavily and we're still in the CL next year.
I like Leicester run properly and they're a Midlands club too. However, nothing to do with liking or disliking Leicester, everything to do with not liking Chelsea. ****s!
3rd then. A big relief, thank F#ck that season is done with. It’s not been enjoyable without fans at all - let’s all hope that we never have to see football lose it’s soul like that ever again. We need to build...not a total rebuild....but new signings are a must.
Is that 7 wins and 2 draws in last 9? With a CB partnership of Williams abs Phillips. what ever you think of then and if they are good enough or not, the run this team have put together is absolutely astounding with a squad of about 15. Fair play to them and Klopp. Helped by a few results going out way, but we finished 3rd.... how the hell did that happen if you look at the table 2 months ago. A weird season all round but if anything it should have built a bit of character amongst them. Can’t wait to see Thiago fab Hendo infront of vvd and Gomez/another next year.
On a side note, how **** was the crowd today? Barely seemed up for it. Waited over a year to see your club in a huge game abs 75% of the game was silent with them just sitting there... not sure who/how the tickets were fished out but I expected 90 minutes of constant noise
