I used to dread Harry Kane coming back into the team after an injury, especially when we'd been grinding out results without him. Whilst the Champions League final comes immediately to mind, a certain game against Burnley in 2019 still haunts me. I also remember his return stopping a Son hot streak dead in it's tracks. Don't get me wrong, Poch bears a lot of responsibility too for letting him play and unbalancing a winning team; at least start him from the bench. I sometimes had the feeling that Harry was so driven to win the golden boot that he was willing to play when he knew he wasn't fully fit and as a consequence the team took a hit. I'm reminded of Baggio playing the 1994 World Cup Final with ice packs on his hamstring whilst Zola was sat on the bench.
