The day Madrid took Ronaldo from Utd was the day I realised no one was safe when it comes to losing star players.

This one will hit differently to any other though I think. Berba/ Modric/ Bale were all gutting to lose but Kane’s one of our own, he has a different level of relationship with the fans to others. Gonna be rough, but I did expect it so it’s also not hit me with the shock factor.

I'd say when Fat Ronaldo paid off his own buyout clause to leave Barca for Inter was probably the first time I noticed that

Of course, the fact his buyout clause was ridiculously low even by 1990s transfer fee standards (IIRC it was around £8m, or half what Newcastle paid for Alan Shearer in the summer of 1996) that was also the time it became obvious that maybe players are earning too much in both wages and sponsorship fees if they're able to pay off their own buyout clauses in order to force a move

    I don't think that's what he's saying. There's too many syllables.
This was directly after he ****ed up a cross straight to their goalkeeper, too.

I've not seen anyone else mention this anywhere, on here or elsewhere, so perhaps I'm way off the mark.
Isn't it incredibly obvious that Kane got tapped up by City, though? They did exactly the same thing with Walker at a similar stage of the season.

The same clip showed up on r/coys on Wednesday

Since then, it's more or less agreed that he's saying something closer to "There's no-one in the ****ing box, man" - which is certainly reason to complain, considering we reverted to the tactics we used between December-April after we went 1-0 up (and there's all manner of suggestions about why, but that's for another day...maybe last Wednesday/Thursday?), but it doesn't fit the Narrative the Twitter feed was going for

A quick look at their Twitter feed says it all

Not sure who he thinks is at fault there, apart from himself. Three men in the box and he hits it straight to Martinez.
I'm not sure what he's saying, to be honest.

Interesting how arsey he gets at people suggesting that's what Kane said

Apparently it hasn't occurred to him that maybe, just maybe, Kane's criticising himself for sending in a cross-shot when Bale, Ndombele and Hojbjerg are in decent positions

Looking at their feed, I'm surprised he isn't trying to make out that Kane's saying "I want Mourinho back" or "Get Levy out of MY club"...

Don't know but you would think there might be some criticism of Neville ,who works for SKY and United I think, putting the video with Kane out on public display. While Kane appears to be courting City who started the courtship?

Thinking about it, Spurs have taken government advice on board and socially distanced all of their fans.

Wasn't that reaction to Reguilon blindly not squaring it back to him or Son, virtually unmarked 10 yards out?
My immediate reaction at the time was very similar to Kanes.

Here's another theory, which is probably bollocks but I'm committed now, but I can picture a conversation along the following lines happening at Sky Towers
"We have to punish those six teams who thought they could break away from Uncle Rupert's smothering embrace and make money without us, so let's make their lives a living hell!"
    "Good idea"
"...wait, we get good numbers for Man Utd and Liverpool matches so we don't want their fans cancelling their subscriptions, so don't say anything bad about them even though their chairmen were vice presidents of the ESL and needed three other clubs to be their patsies"
    "Good idea"
"...and we don't want to be accused of being 'unpatriotic' by saying bad things about the two teams that have reached the Champions League final, so leave them alone of the phone-ins won't let us hear the end of it"
    "Good idea"
"...and Arsenal have been punished enough what with being Arsenal so, even though their chairman was another vice-chairman of the ESL, don't bother laying into them because what's the point?"
    "Good idea"
"...but Tottenham? Let them have it!"
    "Good idea"
"Of course it's a good idea, it's the only one we ever had"

I used to dread Harry Kane coming back into the team after an injury, especially when we'd been grinding out results without him. Whilst the Champions League final comes immediately to mind, a certain game against Burnley in 2019 still haunts me. I also remember his return stopping a Son hot streak dead in it's tracks.
Don't get me wrong, Poch bears a lot of responsibility too for letting him play and unbalancing a winning team; at least start him from the bench.
I sometimes had the feeling that Harry was so driven to win the golden boot that he was willing to play when he knew he wasn't fully fit and as a consequence the team took a hit. I'm reminded of Baggio playing the 1994 World Cup Final with ice packs on his hamstring whilst Zola was sat on the bench.

I hope you’re very wrong but City does seem like the only realistic move if there is to be one.
But he might have a Berbatov moment

City and Pep or Utd and Ole?

Can’t see Kane choosing Utd over City tbh
