    Sunday 23rd May 4pm
    Premier League
    King Power Stadium

It's been a long, awful season and we've got one more opportunity for this team to disappoint the fans.
Not only can we drop out of the European places, but we can also finish below the filth. Perfect.
The hosts need a win if they're to have any hope of Champions League football, realistically.
A draw could be enough if Liverpool and/or Chelsea drop points, but that's probably unlikely.
Can Mason get anything out of this mob or will Rodgers salute a lot, like he's scoring himself?

Leicester did well last season. They've done well this season. Ta da.

This fixture came early last season and was another of those controversial Pochettino losses.
Son put Kane in for an early goal, which he still put away despite being pushed to the ground.
We looked largely in control for most of the game and it was no surprise when it looked like we'd scored again.
Aurier swept the ball home from a Kane pass, but Son's armpit was deemed to have been offside.
Leicester were resurgent after that and won it with goals from Pereira and Maddison:

The home game this season was a dull, flat performance featuring a lot of knackered looking players.
Aurier gave away a stupid penalty at the end of the first half and we never looked like getting back into it.
An Alderweireld own goal after the break basically finished it off, despite some penalty appeals.
Chances weren't that hard to come by, but were repeatedly spurned, especially from set-pieces.
One good Schmeichel save late on maintained their clean sheet and that was that:

Davies and Tanganga are both out for this one.
Justin, Barnes and Evans are out for the hosts, while Under should be fit.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Tanganga, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Winks, Hojbjerg; Bergwijn, Alli, Son; Kane.
Subs: Hart, Doherty, Sanchez, Aurier, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Lamela, Moura, Bale.
    League form: DWWLWL.

Leicester: Schmeichel; Castagne, Soyuncu, Fofana; Albrighton, Ndidi, Tielemans, Thomas; Perez, Maddison; Vardy.
Subs: Ward, Pereira, Morgan, Amartey, Fuchs, Choudhury, Mendy, Praet, Iheanacho.
    League form: WWDLWL.

Ref: Anthony Taylor. VAR: Peter Bankes.

    TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the Villa game?
Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch?
Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting Leicester to go with?

This is as ambivalent towards a game as I have felt for a long time. Part of me thinks we should make 11 changes from Wednesday because we were that bad.

But Mason is probably going to pick 8 or 9 of the same XI probably with similar results.

Kane will either be anonymous or score a hat-trick but all the evidence points towards an easy home win.

    My line up would be:

    Refused a new contract
    Couldn't give him away
Thinks he is a centre back
    Was better with Jan
    No wonder Madrid sold him
    Couldn't give him away
    OK but completely knackered
    Knackered at kick off
    Made of glass
What the **** am I doing here?
    I'm outta here

    Subs
Wish I was still on the Burnley bench
Knew I should of stuck to golf
How the **** does dier get a game ahead of me?
Remember when you thought I'd be the worst signing you'd ever see?
I scored a semi final hattrick but am still on the bench ?
I was a footballer at Wolves, WTF happened?

    Hugo
    Aurier, Rodon, Paskotsi, Reguilon
    Hojbjerg, Devine
    Bale, Lucas, Son
    Kane

The only good thing about the game is that (hopefully) it’ll be the last of quite a few in a Spurs shirt.

One ‘perk’ of Kane leaving is all this focus on his personal records etc. Sometimes I feel like people focus on Kane’s scoring record rather than the team actually winning.

I’d rather see Spurs win 1-0 through an own goal than Kane get a hat trick and Spurs draw or lose

So my weekend got off to a great start by having to call somebody and suggest they not be halfway down the A23 because, having asked me to check in on their flat, they gave me the wrong set of keys

Anyway, Spurs, over to you to keep the streak going...

I did too. The following is absolutely true. I dreamed about this game on Thursday night. I must have dreamed about three games before in my entire life, it's that strange. And I'm sorry to say we lost 2-0. I can even tell you why. You see we were playing fairly well but then they had a shot toward our goal. It wasn't very powerful and it was to the keeper's right about three feet away and easily savable. But the keeper stood rooted to the spot and kind of just waved at it slowly as the ball went past. I was annoyed, but then realised that Gérard Depardieu was in goal for us (the french actor guy). A couple of minutes later the same thing happens. The shot is in the same place and the same result. This time however a couple of defenders throw themselves at the ball and miss and end up on the ground. Gérard kind of waves them off the ground, again quite slowly, as if to say 'winning the match is your job, I'm just standing here'. Which is of course all he was doing. Deep and meaningful eh? No not really, I'm just going a bit insane.

    I find that totally unbelievable

Have you seen the size of Gerard Depardieu these days? If he wants to go on holiday he has to go on a container ship, so no way is anything getting past him

I just found a jar of pickled onions at the back of the fridge, decided to try one, and now I'm reasonably sure I won't survive the night

So my weekend's not getting any better...

Given that most of us couldn't give a ****, I thought that it would be a good idea to get my mate John Malkovic's perspective on today's match....
