Good idea. If people post any useful sites in the House Rules thread a mod can update a list in the OP.
Despite his issues and the fact I have been very critical of him lately I have a good vibe about Hamilton for this race.
Im hoping he either gets pole or a podium for the race . Im not counting him out of a win but im waiting for P3 just to get a clearer picture (thats if the tracks dry)
Two to three weeks before the first Korean race, Bernie Ecclestone was openly threatening to hold a second race in Japan. It hasn't been plain sailing, but the last time I checked he wasn't threatening to take the inaugural Indian GP to Pakistan.
Glad that McLaren locked out FP3, but a bit annoyed that Vettel didn't get a clean run. Guess the uncertainty makes qualifying that bit more exciting. Possibility of a wet qualifying. Come on Jenson! COME ON SCHUMI!
Webber only set one or two unhindered hot laps on the super softs in FP3, Vettel didn't get a clean one at all. I can only assume that Red Bull consider sacrificing a set of super softs to be a price worth paying for an extra test. I would now expect them to be relatively late out in Q2 to give them a chance to do any necessary calculations and work coming out of those runs, and almost certainly use the same tyres as Q1. That will leave them two sets of super softs for Q3 and the race, and I reckon Webber will have a punt on the hard tyres for qualifying.
Rumor on the grid is that they will be all on the prime come Q3. Surprise pole by a Ferrari or Mercedes maybe using the option?
McLaren have too much performance in hand for that in my view. But I'm convinced that Red Bull will split their strategy today regardless of what the other eight drivers do.
Dang Hamilton is as cold as ice today!, yes BBC making up crap about him and critszing every damn thing he does, means you basically get jack, when you want an interview lol Was awsome watching his lap, watching the hands tapping the gear changes
he's just being reserved ,he knows the race is a whole different ball game with redbull and there saved sets of tyres and jenson's apparent easier on tyres talent. Theres alot of tension in that yellow helmet.
He's acting like a spoilt brat playing the: "I told you so nerrrr!" Funny how I can keep it civil, but the other side can't, seems to always happen funnily enough with the Lewis fans...
Good to see the old Lewis back great performance under a lot of pressure from everyone, but the Strategy situation is very interesting. And I'm happy Seb beat JB because now JB's on the clean side of the grid and can attack down to Turn 1. It's baffling that we are talking about Lewis needing a shave and acting like a spoilt brat when he has done nothing wrong this weekend apart from sticking it on pole ahead of JB.
That seems like a little bit of an overreaction. Where did you get the 'spoilt brat' impression from? He seemed subdued and looked like he was going to break into tears at one point. Hardly 'brat-like' behaviour I would say.
