Like a complete ****ing idiot I booked my covid jab in for tomorrow during the 2nd half. I will have to use up all my pessimism before kick off now

 

If it helps, the last time we were 3-0 up against them we won 7-0.

 

This is one match that even the most pessimistic (or more likely those who are scared of jinxes) can safely say we will win. Simply no chance of Palace getting anything with a crowd at Anfield. Even Hodgson said this lunchtime that his team will struggle tomorrow. I’d be disappointed if we are not one up within 10 minutes.

 

That wasn't quite what I meant. It's the sort of game that we can struggle in, and both Benteke and Hodgson would like to go out on a high. That said, if we can get a two-goal lead, I would be quietly confident of us seeing it out.

 

Could be worse...

First they look to have a huge amount of players who will all want to be in the shop window so they could rise to the occasion

Second they are all off and won't give a crap
