Forgot to mention after I called eBay and had the situation made clear I got an email telling me they hoped I'd enjoyed the experience.
Except, I'm not. A laypersons guide. Bearing in mind, the president of the Competition Appeals Tribunal can refer cases to the Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) for breaches of Chapter 1 of the Competition Law Act 1998 in relation to cartels and for criminal prosecutions under the Enterprise Act 2002.....
Mate, posting the potential punishments for severe breaches of competition law means absolutely nothing in the context of this speculative case, or your hyperbolic statement that it’ll bring about the demise of the PL, a broadcaster and the ‘big’ 6. It won’t, irrespective of the outcome.
That will of course depend on the outcome of the 'speculative' case and what evidence there is. That one is for the Tribunal themselves. Only time will tell.
It's rather apparent you don't have an understanding of competion law as the vast majority of cases are considered in the formative stages as speculative despite evidence from both parties to the contrary.
In all seriousness, this business helps me understand the mindset of the Qanon folk who thought Trump was bringing down the deep state and that he was still president even after Biden's inauguration. Thankfully the scales are just a bit less important here, but still. I blame Keith Patterson and his trust or whatever they're called for stringing fans along on this. And in a broader sense Mike Ashley, who knows full well this means he can once again get out of spending any money this summer. But to anyone caught up in this nonsense; please, please use your brain. The PL are not going to be decimated by this CAT case - in all likelihood **** all will happen.
Just got up to speed on the facts and I have the words 75 gb of data rattling round me head. That’s a serious amount of data/evidence. Sounds like the PL will be bringing a spud gun to the gun fight and Ashley has an ICBM. I have no doubt that the PL will be in the ****. Massively.
Personally I expect the delay request was to speak through back channels to NUFC to smooth the path for the takeover. The path of least resistance abs least legal risk is to now waive it through. mid say Ashley cares more about selling NUFC than he does bringing the PL to its knees.
Ashley doesn’t need an excuse to not spend in the summer let alone being likely to spend large amounts on a pointless case just as an excuse. Who knows how it will go but if the evidence is there it certainly won’t just go away. Then again you and Citeh boy obviously know best, based on .............
