a) McFadden's a striker. b) it's a defender and midfielder we're in desperate need of. c) it'd cost Bates money, so we're not going to sign him.
i woudnt say that we NEED a midfielder... we need a CB to replace O'Dear i still think admittedly. But we should have money for spending in january seeings we got about 3mil in the bank (we will buy pugh and keogh though which will lower that figure)
Clearly you haven't seen very much of him this season if you're still calling him O'Dear and think he needs replacing. You are in Australia aren't you to be fair?
yea i am now and i realise the TV doesnt show all (and i have watched about 6 or 7 games of the opening 10) but he still isnt anything special. He looks uncomfortable when put under pressure and his headers go into really stupid places, he loses his man alot too. The game against donny today, he lost his man a couple times (perfect example was when sharp was caught offside early on) but he got away with it because they didnt threaten much. And the game against brighton..... well all i can say is he was shocking.
