Nicked from the Toon board ?

But yeah, you would think so.

Be interesting if he can make the step up. He's blown hot and cold for Wolves.

    Lol.

Nuno is decent enough, he's got a 47% win rate. Which is neither tragic nor particularly impressive.

Seems like a Spursy kind of appointment tbh

Hasn't had his striker all season and they were a lot more dangerous with him.

He’s done a really good job imo, albeit aided by their agent tie up that’s provided some genuine quality.

Jimenez was the one of the most underrated players in the league before his injury imo. The fella is pure class, I hope he can make it back to the same level, but I’m not convinced tbh. Horrendous injury, especially for a player who was an extremely good header of the ball.

Definitely transformed the club from Championship fodder to taking Wolves into Europe. But this season has been pretty poor, which could be explained by losing Jimenez I suppose.

And indeed, their recruitment policy has been excellent. Which will be a rude shock if he does start working under Levy.

You're joking right? If he's not impressive your manager must be absolute dogshite.

Wolves were languishing in League One not that many years ago, ok he took over in the Championship, but I don't think your lot even beat Wolves in the league this season did they?

Called it years ago. He’s a perfect fit for them, he’ll get them 6th every year easy.

I said on Toon board thread personally I've never been particularly impressed with the Wolves football, they have a ton of wing play, hoping for a bit of magic hold up play from one of their strikers. It works though, evidently, he's also helped by the Portugese player connections and a decent amount of investment from these Chinese owners.

I think he's a good stop gap for Spurs tho, he'll keep them in healthy positions and plays a style that I think suits the Spurs players. I think he's a more exciting prospect than Arteta like, just saying.

If Spurs want more dynamic football than they had under Jose then he isn’t the man for them.

Our local journo who's more or less the unofficial mouthpiece of Spurs has said he's not in contention for us.

Relatively happy about that too, he's a decent manager but his brand of football is boring as ****, had enough of that since the final year of Poch. Plus he’s been quite heavily backed at Wolves, wouldn’t say he’s pulled up any trees there, been more or less par for the course for what they’ve spent.
