I'm all for a constitution and contemporary bill of rights but if we do it now with current issues being pushed by extremists on both sides of the political fence it will be a dogs dinner.

No constitution is entirely valid other than the day it is written, you just have to look at how many times the Americans added their amendments to see it is a constantly changing document. Every Karen on the Congo would be out on the streets (ok, on Twitter) declaring their chosen cause is included.
