Can do a job at CB too. Don’t wanna get too excited yet tho but that would be class.

 

If we are only paying £7m for him then that is good business. Yes he will have no resale value like a younger signing but he is cheap and experienced at lever higher than almost all our squad.

 

Perhaps this means we aren’t quite as strapped for cash as everyone seems to be saying? Sure our budget is tight but the way people are speaking is as if we have absolutely nothing. Including talk of our finances being so bad that we HAVE to pay Minamino to avoid the extra loan fees

Alternatively it could point to use getting more transfer income than many assume. Vestergaard? And perhaps teams have taken note of how unstable we look when Romeu wasn’t in the team and someone is coming in for him?

I wonder what this means for Diallo? He potentially moves to 4th choice unless someone goes or he is being coached into a different role ?
