    All the mugs have sentimental value and cannot be thrown out, some of them break accidentally quite often but more arrive.

    Went online and bought a loop pedal today, what I don't understand with them, they are all sold without a power supply (you have to buy seperately) - which is the equivalent of buying an electric kettle without a lead, what sort of fookery is this!

    My misses is like that with mugs, no idea why. She also seems to hoard tea towels and at the last count it was 60 something. Why you need that many tea towels when you have a dishwasher is anyone’s guess!

    So I mentioned on here recently that I had to go and have a scope done for ongoing stomach issues, and basically I've got a hernia and I've been referred for surgery.

    Found out yesterday that the surgeon I've been referred to is someone I had a pretty big disagreement with at work last Summer, he's gonna end up nicking a kidney or something isn't he ffs <yikes>

    It better be ok, cost me around £73 with power supply and an extra guitar lead, and that was with £8+ discount.

    Spent quite a while looking at the things, many cheaper models, but that as you have noticed was the best value for around an extra £20, without spending stupid money. I looked at reviews and people's comments after purchase, the worst complaint I found was somebody who didn't realise you needed to purchase a power supply.

    You can do 9 loops at 10 mins a time, but with a max of 40 minute recording time (so 5min per loop av?). It has some long memory function, supposedly even when no power source (that can't be right) according to reviews, although I didn't think it had a battery supply, so not quite sure how that works.

    Specs;

    • ♬LONG MEMORY: This LEKATO guitar looper comes with 9 loops, and the single loop recording time reaching 10 minutes, total recording time up to 40 minutes, long memory function allows you play the music as long as you want.
    • ♬UNCOMPRESSED AUDIO: 48K/24bit sampling rate, lossless, uncompressed, professional tone quality, guitar effect pedal with high-quality sound and the Analog-Dry-Through design.
    • ♬TUNER FUNCTION : Built-in high sensitivity tuning function. Continuous switching, will not cause discordant interruption between the phrase. Let you enjoy your own fun and colorful life.
    • ♬ USB FOR UPLOAD AND DOWNLOAD: Loopers can Import/Export the music to/from PC easily with USB for uploading/downloading wav loop files, connecting external pedal, no need drive.
    • ♬ EASY TO USE: Clear looping with unlimited overdubbing. Record, Undo/Redo, Stop and Erase are all accessed via different foot commands by one button. Single-knob operation sets loop playback volume.

    It might have a built in lithium battery ? It wouldn’t be the sort of thing you’d want to have to plug into a power source if you were using it in a rack of effects on stage.

    I’ve never used a lot of pedals playing bass, just the raw clean sound of the guitar itself, but one that I’ve used in recordings is called Envelope filter. Gives a bouncy, watery, funk kind of sound.

    I’ll try and dig out a vid to give you an example of how it sounds <ok>

    Yeah can see why you use that, although never played a bass guitar. I've got a Tascam training tuner, I stick mine though, although it cost nigh on £180 (new) with a variety of effects to choose from.
