Eze out for 8 months. That's really going to hurt Palace.

Or it maybe it increases the chances of him remaining at Palace for another season. Wouldn’t be surprised if clubs were sniffing around Palace for him this summer otherwise. Either way hope he has a speedy recovery :(

After tonights results we won't finish 4th from bottom.

Worst case scenario 16th and best if results go our way 12th.

I just want Saints to send West Ham into that stupid European Conference League or whatever the hell it's called. Completely pointless and it will add games to their schedule next season. :)

Its going to be a Puel season all over again where we finished up the table but were still like 3 points off relegation (or something).

Except the very worst we can be is 12 points off relegation, so it’s not actually like the Puel season at all.

Like I said 'or something'

Actually not that dis-similar in fact. The question is how did 46 points secure 8th place??!

    Puel W12 D10 L16 46pts Pos 8
    Hassenhutl W12 D7 L18 43pts Pos 14

Edit. We were 13pts clear of relegation under Puel, we are currently 15 points clear so they are actually more alike than I realised when I posted that off hand comment.

We all know what happened to Puel, I must admit I feel like we've been worse this season under Ralph yet we are actually a bit better. Do we judge the managers performance by league placing too much I wonder?

We absolutely do pay too much attention to league placing. The Puel season wasn't particularly good, given the seasons that preceded it, and it was a bit of a sign of things to come.

Still don't think it was particularly bad either considering all factors.
